Dr. Steven Dean founded True Gynecology in order to provide personalized care to each of his patients.
After 20 years as an accomplished OB/Gyn physician, Dr. Dean realized that his patients differed in their needs between obstetrical and gynecologic care. By soley offering gynecologic care to his patients and incorporating functional medicine, he is able to provide the best personalized care to each of his patients. Dr. Joshua Dean has joined our practice and he has acquired advanced gynecologic training. He has the same passion and goals to continue and advance our mission of providing the best healthcare available.

True Gynecology is now pleased to offer prenatal and obstetrical care by Dr. Joshua Dean. Joshua spends time with his patients listening to their concerns and including them in their care. Similar to Dr. Steven Dean, Joshua has a holistic approach to healthcare and incorporates this with his Obstetric patients. He has training in all aspects of Obstetrics including prenatal care, high risk pregnancies, genetic testing, advanced maternal age, and all aspects of delivery.

He is affiliated with Troy Beaumont (Corewell) hospital.

Dr. Joshua Dean, Dr. Steven Dean’s son, has completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at William Beaumont Hospital. Joshua graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan and was a Phi Beta Kappa recipient. He also graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine with outstanding distinction.
As a resident Dr Joshua Dean received the AAGL award for excellence in minimally invasive surgery. He acquired advanced training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, including da Vinci robotic surgery.
Dr Joshua Dean brings the latest up to date gynecologic treatments in order to enhance the services we provide to our patients.
